COG Design is proud to deliver the outdoor event signage design project for Red Bull Cliff Diving Event.
The brief was to deliver outdoor exhibition and event design for the Red Bull Cliff Diving event west of Sydney.
Inspired by functional drinks from the Far East, Dietrich Mateschitz founded Red Bull in the mid 1980’s. He created the formula of Red Bull Energy Drink and developed the unique marketing concept of Red Bull. In 1987 Red Bull Energy Drink was sold initially in Austria. While not only the launch of a completely new product it was the birth of a totally new category. Red Bull is available in more than 169 countries and around 60 billion cans of Red Bull have been consumed so far.
At a high level the creative solution needed to fit the strict Red Bull event standards guide, and the tight brief by the event organisers – a cliff atop the hills west of Sydney. The signage needed to perform by delivering against the brand objectives while connecting to the core business offer. Part of what COG Design are experts at is following strict brand style guides and creating original and commercial event signage.
Our creative solutions for Red Bull needed to be suitable for an international audience which would be delivered in HD across television and internet, plus following material that would be used in print and digital channels such as websites, email communications, tradeshow presentations, social media channels, video media, and general corporate print solutions.
